When the founder, Claire Logan sold her first sandwich, she never dreamed that one day she'd be making 1000's of sandwiches for the public sector.

From buttering two loaves of bread, presenting them in an ordinary basket in the back of her car and delivering her first sandwiches to local businesses in Talgarth, six years later the company have become a professional sandwich company; comprising 3,000 square foot unit at Talgarth, employing a team of people, and a fleet of refrigerated delivery vans.

The Welsh Sandwich Company brand - says it all. The company is based in the heart of mid Wales, using Welsh ingredients, and all sandwiches are freshly made in-house.

Claire Logan explains, "Other companies' sandwiches travel for miles, and are pre-prepared days in advance. Here at The Welsh Sandwich Company, our ingredients are locally sourced - our baguettes come from Llandod, and our veg is bought at local markets. Our sandwich fillings are actually made in-house. We really are keen to use all that we can from Wales, hence the decision to rename the company, The Welsh Sandwich Company. We have a unique brand, offering high standards, using fresh produce all made in-house, often for same day delivery."
